Hemorrhoids can ooze fresh red blood, whether located externally or internally. External hemorrhoids often cause dripping of blood from the anus while sitting on the toilet. • Chronic constipation or diarrhea

• Chronic cough
• Liver disease
• Chronic use of enemas or laxatives
• Anal intercourse
